I can't believe it has been a month since Bryce got this set up and I have yet to do anything with it. This is perhaps the first and biggest lesson I have learned about starting a business: if you are juggling a normal life, it will get in the way, and time will slip away.
That brings me to the main point here: why does this blog exist? In short, it is a chronicle of starting a web based business in this day and age of the casual billionaires. We know that this has been done before, but the hope is that this is a journey that will be of help to other young upstarts and perhaps they can learn a lesson or two from our troubles.
My goal is that this is a very open and honest record. Of course, we can't discuss certain trade secrets and ins and outs of the business plan, but I also don't want to hide our failures or try to maintain a falsely positive view of all that we are doing. In the first step of honesty, this is a blog about marketing our business as well. I want to have history here so that when the name catches on, you, the reader have a history to look into. I truly hope to have a readership of people interested in what it is we plan on doing. We will change the world, I have no doubt about that, you will just have to wait to figure out how.
